Tina was nominated by several of her teammates, a Volunteer and her Manager.


Tina is one of the most dedicated individuals I am privileged to have on our PCU 4 staff. She consistently motivates others towards reaching a personal and professional standard of excellence. She is a driving force to ensure our patients experience the most positive experience possible. She teaches, loves, motivates and when necessary, pushes peers and subordinates and even her patients to reach the highest achievement possible. She is very respected and highly valued by all members of our healthcare team.

Tina has always been a professional and motivating force for our entire staff. Her leadership on TCAB has been a resounding success. During lunch one day a fellow RN had a need for the Heimlich maneuver and she promptly initiated protocol and saved his life. This exemplifies her commitment for not only her patients but co-workers. We are all so proud of her!

Always caring attitude, fair consistent with staff when she is Charge nurse; solves problems using critical thinking skills; as head of meetings she promotes new ideas to make the floor flow better. I believe she deserves the DAISY Award because of her caring attitude with patients, families and coworkers.
