Vanessa Vil is full of energy and curiosity as a nursing student. Vanessa's smile brightens everyone's day while being an advocate for other nursing students or in a clinical setting. I have seen Vanessa grow in the last three years as a confident, caring, and smart nursing student. Specifically, in Mental Health clinical, I noted increased empathy toward her patients and families. Vanessa also asks for help from staff, nursing professors, and nursing student team members, which I feel is very important as a DAISY Nurse. Vanessa is a bright, shining star with great potential to become a future St. Kate's nurse leader wherever she chooses to work.

While I did not personally work with Vanessa in the clinical setting, I have so enjoyed having her in class these past few years. Vanessa is an excellent student and maintains such a happy, positive, and respectful attitude. I can only see her exhibiting these same qualities in the clinical environment. She has been a joy to have in our program!

Vanessa Vil is an excellent caregiver. She is focused on the patient and making sure they get the care they need. She always has a smile on her face and is engaged with both her student cohort and staff. I believe that her attitude exemplifies a Katie nurse who is committed to compassionate skillful care.

I had Vanessa in class and lab throughout her time at St. Kate's, and she is an absolute delight in class. Vanessa has such a warm personality and is respectful to everyone she encounters. I have seen her to be very engaged in class, always having a positive attitude. She is also a hard worker and a strong student. I have not seen her in clinical, but my experience with her in class leaves me with confidence that she is going to be an exceptional caregiver as a nurse due to her strong performance as a student and her kind personality.
