Venado Graham went above and beyond in his care for our little girl, N. Venado showed genuine concern for her well-being. N had to have an IV in her head due to dehydration. This IV was kept in for 3 days as they pumped fluid into her. On the 4th day when Venado came on shift, he noticed she was receiving nutrients (fats, calories, amino acids) through the IV in her head. He said this was not ideal because if the vein fails it would cause a massive lump on her head. Furthermore, her face already showed signs of swelling. He asked the doctor if he could move the IV to her arm and they consented.
After moving her IV, N's swelling in her face went down and they later discovered the vein tap into her head was no longer good. In addition to this, Venado was extremely prompt and was always more than willing to explain all circumstances until we thoroughly understood what the treatment plan was. This helped reduce anxiety and stress. Venado should be commended for going above and beyond.
