My dad was at St Anthony for 20 days. During that time, he had many different nurses and people taking care of him. Will was one nurse who cared for dad for a number of days and made a huge impression not only on my dad but also on my sister and me. Day after day Will came onto his shift and added a light in the darkness of our situation. Will is a great listener, always considering all aspects of my dad's pain, confusion, mental status, and our opinions when making any decision related to anything (medications, therapy, change in position, etc). During the numerous shifts where Will cared for my dad, we were able to share more about ourselves, about Dad and we also got to know Will as well. My dad typically responds better to men and Will really did a great job of bonding and building trust with my dad quickly and day after day. We honestly feel like Dad's recovery and now improving health can be directly attributed to the care and effort by Will. He is a superstar and your hospital is so blessed to have him on your staff. We are so grateful for all he did during Dad's time there.
