My mother-in-law was admitted to the 6th floor and Zoe was her nurse. While we had excellent care from everyone on this floor, Zoe stood out to us. She had a kind, compassionate and upbeat manner, not only did she care for her patient but she also took the time to address the concerns that my husband and I had. She communicated with us frequently and kept us updated on all the plans for caring for my mother-in-law. In a stressful situation where we felt helpless, she made sure that we never were kept wondering or worrying. She was a strong clinical nurse and proactively addressed issues promptly while explaining to her patient and us what was going on. I know it was an extremely busy day on her floor, but it never showed when she entered the room. She handled everything with grace and an amazing bedside manner all balanced with strong clinical practice. In my opinion, Zoe is a true DAISY Nurse.
