The 10T team has been through a lot over the last several years. The team was the first to take COVID head-on and really stepped in to help with the first COVID unit. This team has worked together to create and foster a culture where the team is most important and taking care of each other is given high priority.
This team functions like a family. They have had good, fun, and tough times together. This culture helps the team work together to ensure we are all successful and the patients get the best care. The acuity we see on our floor can be overwhelming, but the teamwork and collaboration we experience help guide us through the shift. The 10T Team's expertise and teamwork make a real difference every day, as illustrated by many comments from patients and families.
The 10T associates coordinate and run the monthly UBC committee meetings to provide education and collaborate with associates on strategies to improve patient safety, care, and staff morale. These Nurses are continually looking for ways to improve and maintain quality care for the patients and families they serve. I am always excited to hear their ideas and visions for exceptional quality and safe patient care. We could not provide excellent care without these wonderful nurses!
