On urgent advice from my primary care MD, I went to the emergency facilities at KH. He suspected, which was confirmed at the facility through a CT scan, that I had a blood clot in the lower right lobe of my right lung. After dealing with my immediate needs in emergency, I was admitted and later moved to 2South.
I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to all of the staff involved in the Emergency facility, but with special thanks to "Raymond," who made a somewhat frenetic time less stressful. His attention and professionalism were much appreciated. Once in 2South, I would like to also express my deepest thanks, with much appreciation, to my nurse and the Director- Emma. They were extraordinary both in my physical well-being and also in my occasional somewhat less thoughtful comments. Really, really appreciated. One more individual worth noticing, and that is Dr. Trane. His patience with my somewhat long-winded questions and his guidance and conveyance of the information I needed to make informed consent decisions again were much appreciated. Again, my thanks to all involved in my treatment and discharge!
