Nurse Abdullah was very pleasant. When he first came inside the room, he introduced himself with a positive attitude and told me what would be happening for the day. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and make sure all my needs were met. I was worried about my surgery, but Abdullah reassured me that he had been dealing with surgical partners his entire career and that I would get the best care. He did not disappoint. I was happy to have him as my nurse the next day. Abdullah is a huge asset to Kaiser and should be rewarded for his excellent service of compassion and humility. I’m so glad I chose Kaiser as my health provider and especially to be at Kaiser San Leandro in the presence of such extraordinary nurses and healthcare staff.

I had a few procedures done in the hospital and Abdullah explained them very thoroughly and educated me and made me feel comfortable. He made sure the procedures were done properly and on time. He went the extra mile to make sure I felt comfortable and always checked on me throughout his shift. He made me feel like I was the only patient he had that day. I highly recommend him as a nurse and even asked him if he would be working tomorrow, hoping I would have him again. Kaiser is lucky to have such a caring and confident nurse.

Abdullah made a direct connection with me and my wife as soon as he walked through the door. We developed an immediate bond and talked about our travels around the world. He made me forget about my diagnoses and helped me heal with laughter and smiles. He also went above and beyond with a travel nurse by giving me a full bed bath despite them being very busy. Abdullah is a one of a kind nurse and I truly appreciated his compassionate care.
