Abby is the nicest human being I have ever met. She is so genuine and I will sincerely miss her so very much. She made sure every single one of my family's needs was catered to. Abby was much more than a nurse. She was a friend and an older sister that I never had. Whenever she gave me medicine, she always explained what she was doing and gladly answered the plethora of questions I had. She held my hand when the surgeon took the chest tube out. Our sweaty palms at that moment created a bond like no other. The following day she helped me get cleaned up in the bath and I did not feel any sort of hesitation or weirdness. That just speaks to the bond we had. Abby even washed my hair for me!! Even though I only got to see Abby for a brief moment only several times a day, we got to share parts of our life with each other whether that be talking about high school/college or recommending youtube channels. The compassion that Abby has is unparalleled by anyone else. Every nurse here has been so wonderful to me but Abby really stood out. Her clinical skills are top-notch and she has done nothing but exceed expectations. Abby has consistently gone above and beyond in caring for my family and me. Abby is a true DAISY Nurse.
