Abree talked me through the process and after to make sure I had no adverse effects from any of the medications. I could tell she cared!
From the very beginning, as soon as Abree called my name, she introduced herself as my nurse with a smile. She was awesome from then on. As soon as we entered the room, she helped me get comfortable. She noticed how uncomfortable I was and helped me get into bed. She has mad skills putting in an IV. In no time, she had drawn blood and talked to the doctor, who promptly came in. Three minutes after the doctor left, Abree came in with medication to calm my nausea and pain medication. She talked me through the process and after to make sure I had no adverse effects from any of the medications. I could tell she cared! She wanted me to know that I was her patient and that she was going to take care of me.
When water was discovered on my floor because of all the rain, she made me promise to call her if I needed to get up. Promise. She didn’t want anything to happen to me. She checked on me as much as she could and updated me if a test was ordered. She went over my blood work with me and answered any questions I might have had. She was very calm as I asked questions. I could tell I wasn’t bothering her at all! She continued to care for and check up on me even after we found out I was being admitted! She was wonderful, had a great personality, and a wonderful nurse attitude. She was definitely born to take care of other people. Thank you so much, Abree!
