Adam went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. He also made sure to check on my family members to see that they were also taking care of themselves as my support system, and all of their questions were answered. He made me and my family feel calm and reassured during my time in the ICU.
Adam is the type of nurse that may sometimes get overlooked because he is so humble when it comes to his job. He doesn't just look at it as a job; he treats his patients as if they were family. He is willing to go the extra mile to search for that one thing you can eat or not give up even though you've already had 4 different IV's put in. He washes his hands instead of just using sanitizer. He knocks on the door before walking around the curtain. I also appreciated how he always gave an advanced notice before he did anything (drawing blood, helping me to the toilet chair, touching my arm to fix the blood pressure cuff, etc.)
