We had a seriously ill child come to the clinic and Aera advocated for this child to be addressed right away. She met many barriers but her persistence and tenacity saved this child's life. Together with the physician they agreed this was an emergent case that needed to be brought to the Emergency Room. Aera did a scoop and run where she made sure the child was expediently brought to where he could receive the best care with no wasted time or effort.
