Aimee exudes the epitome of what a patient hopes for when the occasion arises that medical help is required. She arrived to prepare me for my procedure with a smile, all her supplies, and pleasant conversation. After all the prep work was complete, she and her team continued to check back in as we were waiting for "my number to be called". I vaguely remember telling her when she was checking me back into my room after the cath that I had the pain that I had been describing to my doctor. Some days later it occurred to me she relayed that info to the doctor as he called back and talked to my husband again. He informed my husband (and instructed him to be sure I knew) that he saw what was causing the pain. That gave me such satisfaction that the source was determined. That is most likely how thoroughly she always handles her patients. But - since I have been on a two year plus journey to find the source, I can't thank her enough for making it possible for me to go home with that satisfaction. She also stayed over with us past her shift to complete everything and get us on our way home.
I have also been impressed with the opinions of other nurses who have worked with her through the years. They have nothing but positive comments on her work ethic.
My experience at Baptist DeSoto leaves me with positive vibes, thanks to Aimee Floyd and her cohorts!
