Aimee is a delight. A cheerful, compassionate nurse who displayed an extraordinary level of care for my family. My stepmother and I have seen Aimee in action twice in the last 7 days. Last week, my Stepmother's best friend came in with abdominal pain and Aimee was her nurse. She was knowledgeable, kept up constant communication and we loved her down-to-earth attitude. We never felt out of touch with what was happening or going to happen next. I was put at ease to see her working a few days later when my Grandmother was brought in for a possible stoke. Luckily it was not a stroke but inflamed arthritis in her shoulder. None the less, Aimee remembered us and was very attentive to my Grandmother who has difficulty walking and understanding a good deal of the time. Just like our last visit, she was informative, naturally compassionate and genuinely understanding. She takes the time to really listen to the patient and the family to see what she can do to help. She even went as far as to point out observations of my Grandmothers behavior that would help her in her future care. My grandmother was smiling and at ease during her visit to the ED. For an impatient woman who doesn't understand what is happening to her or why she is hurting, her smile is a blessing. I thank Aimee for that.
