I am very grateful to my nurse Alberta for many reasons. I was hospitalized first because of a severe foot infection. I was very bad off. Alberta was there for me during the next 12 days. She was kind, very supportive of my recovery, and she kept my spirits up when I was down. She made sure I had clean sheets, gowns, towels and brought me water. Overall made sure things were done properly.
She always asked about how my 6 year old son was doing and how I was feeling that day. She was never in a bad mood and was always smiling. She was very kind and most professional in all her actions. She was very knowledgeable in responding to my medical questions. When I tried getting extra food that I couldn't have because I am diabetic, she would always show concern and tell me I need to eat right so I can be there for my son.
Alberta is an excellent human being and nurse. She has gone above and beyond normal duty to make my hospital stay a more pleasant one. I was hospitalized again recently and Alberta was there for me once again. Without her help and kindness, I don't think I'd have gotten through my illness as positive as I did. I owe my mental recovery to her.
