Upon arrival, Alex reached out to serve us. I could sense the supportive, guiding, encouraging and spiritual gift of compassion as we spoke. His greatest and most valuable asset is his personality. He is compassionate and very confident in his ability. When he walked into my dad's room, just his presence alone put my family at ease and did I mention his smile. I was amazed at the respect Alex showed my 78-year-old dad. Dad would try to say something to Alex through a slurred set of words which even I couldn't understand. Alex would always respond to my dad with a "Yes sir!" When my dad was taken to SICU, he asked if Alex could still be his nurse. I will forever be grateful for Alex's strength and kindness. I have taught kids and coached for 27 years here in Montgomery, so I understand the importance of taking an active role when it comes to supporting families and that is exactly what Alex did for us. Thanks so much, Alex, you are truly a gift.
