She always handles each and every situation with such professionalism! When in charge, Ali makes sure the staff is well equipped to take care of their patients.
Ali is an exceptional nurse! On a daily basis, Ali makes a difference in her patients' lives with her excellent patient care! Ali recently participated in a Girls Scout demo where she showed the girls basic nursing skills such as blood pressure and first aid. Ali is a role model not only to those young girls but also to those of us that get to work with her. She always handles each and every situation with such professionalism! When in charge, Ali makes sure the staff is well equipped to take care of their patients. When someone is behind or runs into a problem she always steps up to the plate to help where ever is needed.
We recently had a patient who had low blood pressure and the nurse was from the supplemental pool and not familiar with our unit. Ali stepped in and helped this nurse, never missing a beat providing excellent care getting the patient the immediate care she needed.
When we have patients who have special needs and cognitive impairments, Ali has extra patience and a kind, tender heart. She has been able to get those patients to take medications and cooperate when other staff could not. If there is something we don't know the answer to or that we need further education on, Ali is always trying to help educate staff and figure out new ways to problem solve and get our job done.
Our patients and staff love Ali! I feel like nothing I could ever say could adequately explain or give her the credit she deserves. She is one of the best, if not the best, most kind-hearted nurses we have!
