Alexandria Bearder consistently goes above and beyond for each and every one of her patients. She is passionate about her profession and demonstrates to us every day by her care and total commitment to making sure her patients feel safe and comfortable while on 3East. It was no surprise to us when we received a phone call from Alex that she was assisting with a car accident that happened on her way to work. Alex called 911 and on the highway, got out of her car to help the elderly man who had crashed his car into the median. She managed to get her hands through the door and pry it open. Alex stayed with the elderly man,holding his head, until paramedics arrived. Even though Alex was covered in blood and traumatized by the event, and wanted nothing more than to go home, shower and be with her family, she came to work. She only did this because she knew we were short staffed and needed her to charge.
This is just one of many examples. Alex definitely makes 3East a better place. She is committed to the floor, her patients, families and her co-workers.
