Alexis went above and beyond the call of duty in caring for my dad. We both had a real emotional and supportive relationship with Alexis. I found her to be sweet, kind, and caring. She gave my dad, for however short it was, the will to fight and make it out the ICU. Whenever I found my dad's will to fight slipping away, I went to get Alexis to ask if she would stop by to see my dad to re-energize his spirit. She always did. I could see the light return to my dad's eyes. I had no idea where my dad's journey would end. Not only did Alexis give my dad the will to fight, but helped me through the hardest time in my life. My dad and I love Alexis. When my dad was in the ICU he said to me, "Luke Skywalker is all around me" meaning that "the force was with him" through Alexis. Thank you Alexis!
