I was admitted to the hospital after leaving a doctor's visit. It was nothing expected and a day that has altered my life forever. Having never been in a hospital before, I was terrified and facing a possible cancer diagnosis.
Ali appeared in my life. God sends special people into your life just at the right time. Ali has been an RN for a little over a month and she is an angel. She recognized immediately how scared I was, and her caring instincts and extraordinary compassion took over. I always felt so safe when I knew she was on shift, and secretly hoped she would be there the next day.
You have an amazing group of nurses that took fabulous care of me, but there was a special light that came from Ali. Her young career is just beginning, and I know she will touch numerous lives in the future, like she has touched mine. She brought a sense of calm to my roller coaster week of testing and diagnosis. Ali has found her calling.
