Before my mother elected to move to hospice, I spent 2 full days at her bedside with Alice as her nurse. She was so gentle and compassionate with my mom, and always respected her voice in decisions. She was likewise always attentive to my time alone in the room, checking on my needs, feelings, chatting a bit and updating. I always felt like we were her only patient, even though I intuitively knew otherwise. She was an outstanding caregiver for our family during a very difficult transition. I can't thank her enough.
