My husband had both of his hips replaced 6 weeks apart. Alisa was our nurse his entire stay during his first hip. My husband also suffers from chronic head pain and takes an enormous amount of pain meds. Because of this, his tolerance for pain meds is incredibly high and it was extremely difficult to regulate his pain from his surgery. She worked really hard with the doctors to find the right dosage for his pain. She was so caring and compassionate with not only my husband, but with me and his mom. She truly cared and would not stop until he was resting comfortably. I could tell by looking in her eyes that she was hurting by watching him hurt. Even though she was busy she still found time to talk to us about normal everyday stuff. We liked her so much that we requested her to be our nurse for his second hip. She took just as much time and care this time around. Alisa is amazing and an asset to your facility.
