In October, my aunt was transferred to the 5th floor from PCU. Aly was one of the wonderful nurses taking care of her. Aly and a PCA came into her room to give her a bath and change her gown and bed linens.
After getting her settled down and comfortable, Aly asked me if she could wash my Aunt's hair. I thought this would be difficult and messy, but Aly said she would love to do it. She said she is a former aide and doesn't get to do personal patient care as much now that she is an RN. She says she misses doing this. Aly was so gentle and loving to my aunt and even put her hair up in a bun, just like my aunt likes it.
It is a joy to entrust a loved one's care to such a wonderful person. Thank you, Aly, for making my aunt's only hospital stay loving and comfortable. You are a gem to my family!

Aly is remarkable. She is new to her profession, yet so GOOD at it! She always has a smile on her face and is always willing to help. She has definitely found her calling. She will only continue to excel. Such a talent. Thank you Aly.
