Amanda was an essential part of my father’s recovery. My father suffered a few strokes and a ruptured brain aneurysm. Fortunately, when my father was admitted to the facility, Amanda had a long stretch of workdays. She helped my father regain memory. He wouldn’t talk to anyone when he first arrived. After about a week, he spoke to Amanda. Since that day, Amanda diligently worked with my father to figure out what he was interested in and used that to help him remember simple things to get his mind going. I genuinely believe that my father's significant mental progress is a direct result of Amanda's determination, patience, and passion for her residents.
