She explained and assisted us with every step and question we had moving through comfort care. The compassion, genuine caring, and love she extended to all of us was so much appreciated.
My mother-in-law has been in your facility for the past two weeks, and I wanted to take a minute to extend my sincere admiration and appreciation for your entire staff. I would like to share our experience with your NVICU Nurse, Amanda Arthur. She is a phenomenal Nurse and an asset to have on your Team. The way she cared for my mother-in-law, my husband, his family, and me was incredible. She explained and assisted us with every step and question we had moving through comfort care. The compassion, genuine caring, and love she extended to all of us was so much appreciated. Amanda asked if she could stay past her scheduled shift to be with us until our mother passed. Thank you to the leadership who allowed her to do this and be there with us. It was our first experience with a loved one experiencing comfort care, and Amanda made the situation extremely special. Her willingness to stay extra after a long day of work was so appreciated. With much gratitude, I would nominate Amanda Arthur for The DAISY Award as she demonstrated extraordinary skill and compassion to our family. I know and understand the meaning and significance of this award and Amanda is deserving of this great honor. I wanted to extend my appreciation to your entire Team and our great Nurse, Amanda.
