Our brother, a special needs adult, was admitted for issues related to a bad fall and while all of the IUHW ER staff was helpful, Amanda is the nurse who has done an exceptional job as his nurse. Not only did she treat him with respect and kindness; she also noticed his bladder was full due to bloating and when she performed an ultrasound on his bladder she found over a liter of urine and did a catheterization to relieve what could have been a serious issue. The cath was performed because he had not been able to relieve himself with several attempts. Thank you Amanda for your extra care!!!!

Amanda took excellent care of our family member while in the ED. Great personality and very attentive to needs. Answered all questions. Great interaction with all family members and patient!

I brought my husband in and I thought he may have a brain hemorrhage and Amanda took me seriously, was extremely kind and respectful and got my husband seen right away. It turned out he did have a bleed and every minute counts!!! Thanks Amanda!
