Ami Kelley went above and beyond to advocate for my needs while in the hospital. She developed a caring bond to encourage the best habits for my eating and care of myself. She went to the canteen to get me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich when my meal was not worth it. Amazing care - above and beyond during my time in the VA Hospital. Ami would gently encourage to decrease any food that would flare up my gallbladder. She would respond to my calls within seconds. Ami always referred to me as sir or Mr. Ami would always knock before entering. She was always personable. She used her PPE when caring for me, knowing she had sick family members at home and being aware of my care. She never missed a day to be here for her job. She is the best nurse I have ever received care from while at the VA.
