Amy has excellent clinical skills, a happy and joyful personality, an extremely kind, caring, and thoughtful manner.
Amy came to Flinders Island Multipurpose Centre as part of her transition to practice Enrolled Nurse training. During her time here she has shown herself to be exceptional. She is caring, kind, and extremely keen to learn and develop herself and skills. Please find attached a copy of a recommendation letter I received for her.

I am a resident of the Shearwater Haven, the aged care division of the Flinders Island Multipurpose Centre. I had the very great pleasure of experiencing Amy's wonderful care and support during her transition to practice experience. As a former RN with a wide experience in many fields of nursing, I would have to say that Amy is one of the very best ENs I have known. She has excellent clinical skills, a happy and joyful personality, an extremely kind, caring, and thoughtful manner. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and she very quickly learned each resident's personal preferences and always ensured that we were receiving the very best our facility has to offer. We have some dementia residents here and as I watched her work with them, she was willing and very capable of finding ways to assist, then was able to encourage them to participate in the many activities she wanted. Amy is a truly exceptional young lady and a gifted, creative, and clinically sound EN. She really, really deserves recognition.
