Amy has been at Gallup just short of a year. She said that she never extends at a facility but knew that the people of Gallup needed her, and she enjoyed being there.
This is what her patients had to say about her:
An ER patient that had been sober for just short of a year of her alcohol use disorder had a relapse. She said the relapse was a huge blow to her and Amy showed such kindness to her and she was very sensitive to many very painful issues that were brought up.
Amy was working in the ER and a doctor took the time to write in and say - The healthcare field is overwrought with rules and regulations which skews the foundation of caring for the masses, "I just want to help people" becomes buried in our chaotic healthcare objectives and we as healthcare workers become fatigued and overwhelmed. I was impressed with the interaction that I experienced. I would like the staff to know that they are appreciated. They need to hear this. For this, I give "Thanks".
A co-worker said, "Amy is awesome! Amy is awesome with doing things we need her to do and her stuff is always turned in on time. A recruiter's dream!!"
I feel like its people with hearts like Amy's that make a difference in the healthcare field!
