Amy took the time to listen to our family's needs. She was reassuring, focused on my son's safety and helped us work together as a team. Patient and kind-hearted, she went above and beyond to locate a change of clothes for us. Amy was only our nurse for one shift, but she took the time to check on our family the following day. Amy has been a clinical nurse in the Pediatric Medicine unit since August 2008. She is outstanding, exceeds our expectations on a daily basis, and is adored by our patients and families. Amy is the first to jump in and offer assistance, which has led to her trialing our new intervention nurse role. From assisting with precepting to serving as one of the unit's relief charge nurses, she has always been a valuable member of the team. She is truly an asset to the Pediatric Medicine team.
