Amy Lange is the personification of characteristics of the DAISY Award. This award is for extraordinary nurses and Amy is extraordinary in every way. Amy's nursing and job related knowledge is superior. She exhibits excellent leadership every day in the OPSC PACU. She is kind and compassionate to patients and coworkers. She goes the second and third mile to create and maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and harmony. Her clinical judgments are sound and to be trusted.

As a new employee, Amy has been my mentor and I have seen her "in action". I trust her judgment without reservation.
