I had my first baby at HUMC this Saturday and my husband and I could not have asked for a better nurse than Ana when it came to delivering our baby. I was scheduled for an induction and was admitted on Wednesday, but we did not get to meet our baby until Saturday. As you can imagine, it was quite a long process. However, thanks to all the wonderful nurses at Labor & Delivery the wait did not seem too bad. Ana was our nurse the night my baby was delivered and I am so grateful that she was the one who helped deliver my baby. She was so supportive and friendly. Her enthusiasm and passion really show in her work. She had us relaxed and laughing as we anxiously awaited for my labor to finally kick in and she was the best support/coach to both of us during delivery (being first-time parents, you can imagine how clueless we were). My husband and I will never forget what an amazing nurse we had for our first child's delivery. My family is truly lucky to have had such an amazing team of nurses and doctors who helped bring our healthy baby boy into this world. I can't thank Ana and the rest of the L & D staff enough for everything they did. I will never forget my wonderful experience with Ana and HUMC. I truly believe we need more nurses like Ana. Thank you again for everything you did for our family!
