My dad had a massive stroke in September 2016. After intense rehab, he moved home and decided after a year he needed assisted living. Andrea has been a consistent source of care and support since my dad moved into Water's Edge. She is kind, attentive to my dad's needs, responsive to my questions, and makes clear recommendations to help make my father more comfortable. Recently, my dad has experienced unfortunate incontinence, especially at his apartment and at inconvenient times. Andrea gave thoughtful consideration to this issue, and recommended a non-medical, over the counter solution that appears to be working very well. This effort saves my dad the time and humiliation of this inconvenience and personal hygiene issue. Also, earlier this year my dad suffered a pancreatic/esophagus episode and Andrea was there diligently to talk and advise us through the post-hospital visits and post-procedure doctor follow-ups, medication changes, etc. My dad requires more hands-on care following these two episodes and Andrea helped manage that transitional process for care needs, medicine administration, etc. She is a trusted, experienced, and a true DAISY Nurse.
