They are professional, encouraging, supportive, and very respectful.
My nurse is a "team of nurses" in the infusion room of the cancer center. They each have a talent that complements each other, and they use that to make a pleasant, efficient, smooth nursing unit. I walk in and am welcomed with a warm greeting and a smile. They are professional, encouraging, supportive, and very respectful. I am there for hours a day getting treatment. They explain each medicine and make sure you are comfortable and doing well. One of the great things is their attitude. They are uplifting and attentive. If they are having a busy day, you would never know it. They keep the patient uplifted and make a depressing situation more pleasant. The cancer center was the best-kept secret in Smyth County. No one was aware of what an excellent place we have. Upon leaving after treatment, I leave knowing I got the best treatment possible. These nurses are an asset to SCCH and to their patients.
