I am honored to nominate Aneesa Haneefa for the DAISY Award for their exceptional leadership and dedication in successfully leading the ANCC- PTAP RN Residency (training program for Fakeeh graduates from the college) Accreditation process at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in 2024. She has exemplified the highest standards of excellence in nursing education and has made a significant impact on our institution and the nursing profession.
Fakeeh graduates are our future generation of nurses at DSFH-J. Incorporating person-centered care into nursing education equips future nurses with the skills and mindset necessary to provide high-quality, compassionate, and effective care. It prepares them to meet the evolving needs of patients and contributes to a more empathetic and responsive healthcare system. She incorporates person-centered care into her teaching methods to ensure the RN residents demonstrate person-centered care when delivering patient care, and through her commitment to person-centered care, Ms. Aneesa has ensured that our RN residents are not only skilled clinicians but also compassionate caregivers who place patients at the center of their practice. Her efforts have cultivated a new generation of nurses who are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve.
Under her leadership, the PTAP RN residency program not only met but exceeded accreditation standards, setting a new benchmark for quality and innovation in nursing education. Through the RN residency program led by her, RN residents have gained a deep understanding of the importance of treating patients as partners in their own care. They have learned to listen with empathy, communicate effectively, and tailor care plans to meet the individual needs and preferences of each patient. This approach not only enhances patient satisfaction but also improves overall clinical outcomes. Her unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, combined with her deep knowledge and expertise, ensured that the residency program was recognized for its outstanding contributions to nursing practice and education.
