I went to the doctor's office to have what we believed to be a sty on my shoulder removed. The doctor said that it wasn't a sty but he believed it was skin cancer and needed to be removed as soon as possible. The office said they would call and set up an appointment with a dermatologist. The doctor's office called saying they could set an appointment for some time in October. After speaking to Angela about it at work she expressed concern and, after mentioning that my left limp node was swollen, Angela was even more concerned. She asked if I minded if she called around to see if she could get me an earlier appointment. She called me to say she made an appointment with a Topeka dermatologist.
Since that appointment, Angela has checked on me several times. Angela wasn't even the nurse for the doctor that treated me, but she stepped in and helped me tremendously.
