My wife was flown out to Banner for our baby was premature. When we arrived, being from the San Carlos Reservation, I felt very out of place and very worried with no family or friends to ask for help. Ann went above and beyond her call of duty, letting my wife use her personal cell phone to contact our children and family. She did her job so professionally and her compassion and understanding and good humor made our stay during my wife's c-section and baby's stay in NICU comfortable. Her presence and her love for her job is what make Banner a good hospital for medical care. I nominate Ann for the DAISY Award because of her big heart and care when in need. I also made her my newborn's namesake during our delivery. Thank you, Ann, for making us feel important and our baby a priority.

I was admitted here and was brought in from the San Carlos Reservation. I met a lovely, nice nurse name Ann. She was very helpful and explained things to me that I didn't understand. She came to my room very quickly, even though it was not that much of an emergency. She deserves the DAISY Award. I was scared and afraid when she was getting me ready to go deliver and gave me comforting words and said I'll come back looking for you if they don't bring you back to the same room. That was very comforting. We had several phone calls to make back home that were long distance calls and Ann was so nice. She left her cell phone in my room to use. I just want to thank God for letting me meet this wonderful nurse. Our beautiful baby girl was given a very special name after a very nice and special nurse.
