Every day Anna exemplifies unwavering compassion for patients and is a beacon for those in need. Just one example of this compassion was recently demonstrated in her invaluable assistance to a high risk, underserved patient whose mother had a stroke and had to suddenly leave town while in the middle of treatment. Mrs. Huck coordinated his care from out of state to ensure he could continue receiving treatment. This avoided a break in care. Without her steadfast determination, this patient would have continued to suffer and would have needed to restart the entire treatment process. Mrs. Huck works closely with the sole Transgender Champion, Dr. S, to provide teaching and care coordination with quality, competent and empathetic care to patients under this provider's care. Patients and teammates routinely commend her approachability and caring attitude, and her commitment to excellence motivates peers and patients alike.
