Anna-Marie graciously volunteered to assist with staffing where needed. By Anna-Marie doing this, we were able to accept patients to be admitted from the ER. Anna-Marie's actions prevented a grandmother of one of our associates from being transferred to another hospital. This meant that my family member was able to be cared for locally.
This action by Anna-Marie is consistent with the way her peers describe her; always putting patients first. Then, loving her job and always going the extra mile to be a great co-worker.

From the first day that I met Anna-Marie, she set me at ease, even though I was a little cranky. Anna-Marie took her time with me; and a big plus, she always made me laugh and smile! She takes care of my ostomy twice a week because I cannot change it myself, she offered to do it. Anna-Marie is a friend for life.
