My father and I brought my mother to the ER after she experienced some symptoms that were worrisome. Anne not only was kind and helpful but truly went out of her way to make sure my mom had the best care possible. We happened to be there during shift change and Anne made sure that the doctor coming on shift reviewed all tests and looked closely at the results. She stayed 30 minutes over to advocate for my mother and I believe she played a big part in admitting her for observation. It was a very busy night for them and things could have easily been downplayed. Anne truly went above and beyond to see that my mother got the best care possible.
After many tests the next day, it was determined that she did suffer a TIA and will follow up with her primary care doctor for more tests. This was the first experience I have had, as a daughter, with a parent being in a scary medical situation. Anne helped me understand and pushed me to ask the questions that needed to be asked. I will forever be grateful for her kindness and selflessness.
