I started coming to the ATC for Chemotherapy in August 2018 with a 6-month prognosis. Amongst your talented nurses - one named Annette was outstanding. I had a long time of each visit to watch her perform amongst her teammates and other patients in a very crowded ATC unit. She had a smile and caring, comforting nature. I found her knowledgeable and caring, answering all of my concerns. She is dedicated even when I think the reason I'm in my 9th month of recovery is partly due to the excellent care (physically, mentally, and spiritually) is the care Annette has given me. A patient opposite me was having a tough emotional time and Annette sat and quietly soothed him until he was calm enough to sleep again. She exemplifies compassion to a fine art and still retains her professionalism in her job.
