I was privileged to have Annie on the heart team when I was scheduled for a very unexpected
four vessel coronary bypass graft. She visited me the evening before surgery and gave my husband and me such comfort and reassurance. She told me that I was in good hands with the heart team she has worked with for many years and I would not always realize she was in the room with me but she would be watching over me in the OR.

Annie greeted us the next morning in the pre-op area. Once again she assured and comforted us, introduced the other nurse on the team and offered the most beautiful prayer on our behalf. We truly felt the pre-op room was full of guardian angels. There could be no better way to start the amazing procedure lead by Dr. Z, his skilled physician assistants and open heart team. To go into surgery with such reassurance and peace of mind set the tone for a positive outcome. Annie is the most kind, compassionate and spiritual person I have ever known.

I feel so blessed to have my heart fixed and to have so many guardian angels watching over me. Annie is a guardian angel in scrubs. I thank her for the peace of mind and assurance she provided us. She is truly an extraordinary nurse!
