... Annie was very professional and kind, easing my fears and hesitation. Annie encouraged me through engagement and education, to take an active role in the care I was receiving. She made sure I understood every detail of my surgery and that I could effectively communicate that to the many caregivers that I would be coming in contact with throughout the day. Annie was also very kind, friendly, and professional to my nervous wife.
My wife stated to me, "Annie hugged me when they took you away to the OR and told me everything will be okay, we're going to take very good care of your husband." Annie was truly a friend to my family and me during our time of suffering. Annie was very knowledgeable of what was going to happen to me throughout the day and she took the time to educate me and answer all of my questions. She was the first caregiver that we came into contact with that day and she very gently took control. I felt very safe and I know I was in capable hands.
I am amazed and grateful at the level of knowledge and care that Annie delivered. My surgery went very well. The staff here is so genuine, caring, and very professional, especially my Nurse Annie.
