Tony Courie was the nurse who took care of our family member on the day of her death. He entered the room professionally and greeted everyone including my aunt, the patient. Before he did anything to my aunt, he told us what he was doing, what medication he administered and why. Tony was caring, professional, knowledgeable, and exhibited excellence in nursing care. Tony paid close attention to detail. He tried to make the day as pleasant as possible. When alarms went off in the room, he was right there to tend to everything and explained what was happening. Tony deserves the DAISY Award for the excellent care he exhibited not just today, but every day.
