I can write a book on how amazing April is! From my first encounter with her as my supervisor in 2011 she's been a consistent leader and role model, truly embodying PSA's core values; Taking Action, giving care and building trust with our PSA Families! April is dedicated!
April is not afraid to get in the trenches. April staffs school/home cases when field staff is unavailable. She helps CCM's open cases often, after business hours to make sure patients and families have a reassuring face when they get home.
One recent case happened this past December. April made sure a little boy made it home for Christmas after being in the hospital for several months due to cancer. He was able to open gifts and spend time with loved ones, before having to be readmitted for further treatments.
She's an exceptional Leader. I speak from experience as she was my preceptor to my current CCM position. She truly is the heartbeat of our location. I can't sum up 14 years of excellence on 1 page, but if anyone is deserving of this award, it is most definitely her.
