April Jordan RN, ADN was awarded the DAISY Award for Nursing Excellence for the second time in April, 2014. She was nominated by a number of patients over several months, who wrote:

"The welcome committee was great! Ms. April made our stay a very cozy and quite wonderful stay. She had great words of encouragement and was a great nurse. She was with us all the days we were here. She was great! She also gave us privacy and knocked. She was great!"

"Once, I remember it was her lunch. I needed my wound care aide. She didn't go to lunch. Instead, she did my wound care. That really touched my heart deeply. She's always on time with medication. I don't have to wait when I'm in pain. She's such an asset to the Schwab staff. Thank you very much, April, for everything."

"I was at my low and Mrs. April came in my room and blessed my day. Because of Mrs. April, I felt like living again."
