She had him in the ambulance within three minutes and took him to the emergency room in Naperville. My husband was immediately sent to the Cath Lab, where two stents were placed. He had what is known as a widow-maker’s heart attack, with two of his main arteries 99 percent blocked. The survival rate for these types of heart attacks is not high.
