I felt fully cared for under her care, with full confidence that she had my best interests at heart, and she was not hesitant to tell me if I was needlessly worrying about things.
I was a patient here for over two weeks. While there were a few nurses who were very compassionate, caring, and professional, Arshdeep stood out as an exemplary example of a nurse who performs to higher standards. She has her basics well covered - the timing of medications, promptness in responding to needs, and a positive attitude; she excels in her higher-level quality of care.

When I needed my NG tube refastened, she didn't just retape over it; she redid the entire dressing and added Steri-Strips on top, because she knew that would make them last longer and give me more support. When I had to be injected with a contrast solution down my NG tube, she had suggestions for how we could take things one step at a time to make me comfortable about it and slowly inject it without making me nauseated. She took the time to converse with my husband and developed a great rapport while keeping it very professional. When I told her I had a slight diaper rash, she gave me the full spectrum of how to care for and wipe the area, to avoid the toilet paper, and gave me the right tools to quickly remedy the issue. She then followed up repeatedly during the day to be sure I was comfortable and was healing properly.

She paced me through my day by informing me when my next scheduled prescription was due or when I had to be ready for my CT scan. She followed up with doctors when I asked for help to get the answers I needed for my care, and she helped settle questions with my lab orders to be sure all was in good order. I felt fully cared for under her care, with full confidence that she had my best interests at heart, and she was not hesitant to tell me if I was needlessly worrying about things. She was my advocate for health, and she cheered me on when she removed my NG tube. She really helped me get through the rough patches in my complex health experience at this hospital.

Thank you!
