Ashley is one of the hardest working nurses I know and is very dedicated to her job and patients. She always has a positive attitude and a go-get-it attitude. She is really looked up to for her knowledge and dedication. I've seen many times when patients are excited to see her because her personality brings them joy; she goes above and beyond to make sure that the care they receive from her is the highest. She does extreme research to make sure the patient understands their medications and treatment. She is a very compassionate nurse and has personally experienced losing loved ones in the past; when a patient comes in with the same experience, she relates to them and comforts them during their time of grief and is never too busy to stop to help them. She is always willing to help whenever and wherever needed, many times working extra hours and skipping lunches to help patients. She is an advocate for the patient and doesn't care to stand up for them when needed. She makes sure medications are refilled and authorized in a timely manner. She makes sure her fellow co-workers are taken care of and appreciated as well and is a phenomenal preceptor and mentor. She truly makes a huge difference in the patients' lives she cares for and is an inspiration to all around her.
