Ashley Greer is one of the best supervisors. She is always checking on Surgical Services after hours and aware of what is going on. She constantly makes rounds and offers her help. Last week we had 2 OR rooms running and had an Emergency add on. One nurse had to get the patient and the other nurse was caring for the other patient. Once we had the patient in Pre-op, the other patient came out. We called to see if we could get help to transport the 1st patient to the floor. Ashley immediately came to help. She even stayed with the patient on the floor until the nurse was available. Once she was able to give the nurse report, she returned to PACU to check on us and obtain a telemetry box for the patient that was in PACU. Ashley always goes above and beyond. She exemplifies the Piedmont Promise. Ashley always has a positive attitude about things, so that in stressful situations she can make things better.
